Lake Bunyonyi and Bwindi Forest are famous attractions in South Western Uganda. The 3 days safari will take us to the Forest for a Gorilla tracking session. We shall have an overnight at Lake Bunyonyi on one of the islands here we shall do an island tour of some of the 29 Islands on this river valley before returning to Kampala. The 3 Days Gorilla Tracking and Lake Bunyonyi tour will explore all this. Get you close to the gorillas and relax on Uganda's deepest lake.

Day 1- Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Overview Details

On the morning of this day, we shall set out for the long drive to Bwindi Forest. It is about a 9 hour drive but not a boring one. It has amazing attractions like equator, road side vendors, different landscapes and of course crossing numerous famous districts. We shall arrive in the evening and check in for an overnight. Lunch will be had along the way.

Main Destination: Bwindi Forest (Ruhija Sector)

Mid-range: Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge

Day 1- Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On the morning of this day, we shall set out for the long drive to Bwindi Forest. It is about a 9 hour drive but not a boring one. It has amazing attractions like equator, road side vendors, different landscapes and of course crossing numerous famous districts. We shall arrive in the evening and check in for an overnight. Lunch will be had along the way.

Main Destination: Bwindi Forest (Ruhija Sector)

Mid-range: Ruhija Gorilla Safari Lodge

Day 2-Gorilla tracking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Today we shall have our Gorilla tracking session. We shall wake up early in the morning, have our breakfast and packed lunch. We shall drive to the park offices for briefing, where we shall meet other trackers and rangers. After breaking we shall be allocated groups and off we go for tracking. The tracking can take about 3 hours to 8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas. Upon return, we shall drive to Lake Bunyonyi for an overnight.

Main Destination: Bwindi Forest (Ruhija Sector) and Lake Bunyonyi

Mid-range: Bird nest Resort, Lake Bunyonyi

Day 3- Lake Bunyonyi Island tour and return to Kampala.

Wake up in the morning have breakfast, and set out for an island tour on Lake Bunyonyi. Visit the famous punishment island, Leprosy Island, and others on a motorized canoe. Later after we return to Kampala/Entebbe arriving late in the evening.
