The “Valley of apes”, Kyambura Gorge has one community of chimpanzees that are always referred to as the lost chimpanzees. These are habituated for tracking and going down the 100m deep valley for these primates, doesn’t guarantee seeing them because they are always on the move but it is never disappointing. There is a lot of life from old trees, birds, monkey, and hippos that fill the Kyambura River. After tracking, we shall transfer to Buhoma where we shall have an overnight before the gorilla encounter the next day.
